  • The Project Integrator needs to be technically savvy, good at working with people, able to plan and communicate, and provide leadership for the organization.
  • The two positions, reporting to the CIPT leader, have responsibilities that include the development and management of the Fan and LPC Modules
  • The Fan and LPC modules will incorporate new Geared TurboFan technologies into the Engine architecture including a Low Pressure Ratio Fan and a High Speed LPC.
  • The Project Integrators are responsible for delivery of the Product (Designs and hardware) that meet the customer requirements, as well as integration of partnership ventures as they are identified for specific components or parts.
  • Project Integrators are expected to lead their teams, work with counterparts to create and execute design and interface requirements.


  • BS Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
  • MBA or Advanced Engineering Degree a plus
  • Gas turbine product development experience - broad engineering and manufacturing discipline knowledge is required.
  • Strong background in EVMS, project planning and financial management required.
  • Candidate must have demonstrated leadership.
  • Familiarity w/ compression systems is a plus.
  • Min of 5 years related experience required.
  • Candidate must be able to manage many tasks simultaneously and be able to communicate effectively in formal forums.

The Assistant Design Integration Manager for the NGPF Fan and LPC CIPT within Compression Systems Module Center will have the following responsibilities:

  • Defines the mechanical design requirements and system integration features that meet the customer and program goals, including module cost, weight, performance and other TPM’s
  • Integrate Customer and Nacelle interface requirements for the Module
  • Breaks down and allocates the PSRD design criteria and program requirements to the IPTs to ensure they are converted into specific achievable tasks
  • Reviews component risks, identifies system mechanical risks, and develops/manages mitigation plans that ensure the mechanical requirements are achieved
  • Provide technical leadership to IPTs, and stay current with IPT tasks via CIPT and IPT meetings
  • Controls the component configuration management in support of the CCB consistent with company standards.
  • Ensures all part and module level Product Design Reviews are conducted consistent with company standards

  • Ensures the processes for safety, maintainability, reliability, durability, and weight management are executed consistent with ESW.

  • BSME or equivalent,
  • MBA or Advanced Engineering Degree a plus
  • Discipline engineer on static and rotating part families
  • Minimum ESW Proficiency Level 3 in assigned discipline, willing to develop as part of IDP.
  • Strong communication and organization skills required.
  • Ability to lead multiple IPTs through influence and to understand customer requirements and translate into IPT requirements

  • Develops and ensures component requirements are addressed in the execution of engine verification and validation plans
  • Breaks down and allocates the PSRD structural criteria and program requirements to the IPTs to ensure they are converted into specific achievable tasks
  • Reviews component risks, identifies system mechanical risks, and develops/manages mitigation plans that ensure the structural requirements are achieved
  • Provide technical leadership to IPTs, and stay current with IPT tasks via CIPT and IPT meetings
  • Develops Module and part level certification reports supporting FAR 33 and FAR 25 requirements with IPT’s and Partners

  • BSME or equivalent,
  • MBA or Advanced Engineering Degree a plus
  • Discipline engineer on static and rotating part families
  • Minimum ESW Proficiency Level 3 in assigned discipline, willing to develop as part of IDP.
  • Strong communication and organization skills required.

Lead the development of CAE tools, specifically in the area of noise and vibration, and deploy them to engineering centers worldwide. Candidate will work as part of a strong core team of engineers that perform modeling and simulation activities in the areas of noise, vibration, system dynamics and motion control. Responsibilities will include:

• Develop and deploy state-of-the-art tools for system noise and vibration modeling, requirements allocation and robust design. Maintain and improve existing toolsets.
• Lead or support modeling activities for elevator and escalator system and component design.
• Work closely with corporate research center on advanced development projects and implement best practices from industry
• Teach, train and mentor fellow engineers and technicians in the organization
• Some international travel to Engineering Centers expected.

  • 5 – 10 years industrial experience in a product development setting with acoustics / noise control focus.
  • Strong working experience with commercial noise modeling tools and MATLAB. Preferred candidate will have experience with AutoSEA (or VA One) and Ansys (or similar commercial FEA tool).
  • Strong hands-on experience with NV test methods and spectral analysis, including measurement of sound intensity and sound power.
  • Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
  • MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Acoustics required.

NGPF Program - On Site Customer Manager: 60/40 splits

NGPF Program - On Site Customer Manager
Location:
Montreal, Canada
Relocation: Yes, but no housing
Salary: Open
Must be a US Citizen

The primary responsibilities of this position will be to lead the company’s propulsion system on site integration team and represent the company’s NGPF program office at the company facility in Montreal.
The daily focus will be on the coordination of propulsion system activities between the division and the other company division teams to ensure program objectives are met on time. This position will be accountable to CSeries program manager and will work very closely with the CT team to accomplish the following:

- Ensure the company meets and complies with Cseries Propulsion Requirements
- Establish and keep up-to-date Powerplant Integration plan
- Provide a regular consolidated status report to CT team
- Represent the company at division weekly Work Package meetings
- Ensure accurate and timely flow down to customer requirements to CT team
- Ensure company position on various programmatic and technical elements are properly communicated to the division.
- Develop and manage the division’s customer score card to achieve ACE gold customer satisfaction results

  • B.S. in engineering or equivalent
  • Ten years aerospace experience.
  • Working experience with airframer and commercial engine development is desirable.
  • Excellent communications skills are required and ability to speak French is a plus.
  • Must be able to work within a team environment and relocate to Montreal, Canada.
