This position requires excellent organization, leadership, time management, communication, and engineering design skills. This person will be responsible for designing elevator over-speed governors, evaluating governor designs to improve quality, evaluating task requirements for timely completion of projects, providing technical assistance, implementing product test procedures, and ensuring all functions of position are consistent with corporate policies, procedures, and applicable safety codes.

• The candidate must have a minimum of 5-10 years experience in mechanical design.

• The candidate must have the ability to perform finite element analysis and must have knowledge of ANSYS and ProE.

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering required - M.S. degree preferred.

• Must be proficient in spoken and written English
